Hi! I'm Brandon, a city-dwelling scientist now making sculptures and cocktails that feel right using whatever's left...I was born in the Bahamas, raised outside Nashville, and left my hometown, family, and friends to launch a research career at Yale... 6 months before the pandemic changed everything. I spent my COVID years studying addiction, pain, and PTSD as though the outside world wasn't already cheerful enough. One day, looking to blow off steam, I wandered into an art store with a visiting buddy and discovered that modeling clay (plasticine) was a fun medium to express myself. Off I went, hands too messy to scroll my news feeds, sipping my first poor attempt at a margarita.A couple years later, I met my dear friends, Goose, George, and Ann. Recognizing my fascination with his work and seeing potential in my own, George started teaching me classical sculpting technique as Goose modeled for his ongoing work out of his Wallingford, CT studio. That same week, I showed up for my first shift at Ordinary, the bar that's taught me all I know about cocktails. I spent all Summer hauling angelic bronze and plaster figures by day and liquor crates and ice by night. I knew then that I couldn't get enough, and trust me I know the signs. So here we are. Thanks for reading; I hope you enjoy the ride with me as I continue to explore and unite my passions.Love you to death,
-B

I'm always turning over a new idea in my head, or thinking about something from a song, movie, or book to explore in art or in a drink. Here's what I'm listening to when I'm working and some shots of the creative process!
Yes, I'd gladly create a unique artwork or make drinks for you to enjoy! You can usually catch me at Ordinary when I'm not busy making a mess of George's studio or wandering between my favorite spots in New Haven!Otherwise, let's get acquainted digitally!
